Weekly notices Term 3 Week 1

Hi everyone and welcome back!

Hope you all had a fun and relaxing holiday. I was at school the day it snowed wasn't that exciting. Fortunately I got to spend the rest of my holiday in the sunshine in Rarotonga visiting my friend who is a teacher over there.

I hope you have ALL been reading during the holidays. I expect ALL reading logs to be returned this week please. You can print them off the school website should you have misplaced yours.

This term our concept we will be learning about is cycles. We will be learning about the solar system, circuits and body systems.

On Thursday this week we start the "GO FOR IT" programme, please ensure you have your PE gear.

Please ensure for homework you are spending some time learning your times tables. Times tables really are the key to being successful in maths in Year 5 and 6.

Also you should be practising your fortnightly spelling words and be reading a novel. All of this learning takes practise, just like you would practise riding a bike!

Note for Week 2: JPC interviews Tues and Wed
